A Dog Named Paul

It's been two years since my ordeal in Dubai but I still remember much of it like it was yesterday. Very cliché but so very true.

About this time I was moved into the flat with my soon to be very close and dear friend Paul. Not quite adjusted to the new location or it's surroundings I did find my self getting better acquainted with his dog and cat - especially the Dog - also named 'Paul'(Pog) - but that's another story.

While Paul, the Human, was out and about, carrying on with life I was, in the interim, to remain secluded on my lawyer's advice and under no circumstances was anyone else to know of my whereabouts. I got settled and found myself endeared more and more to Pog. We would go out for daily walks and he was a buddy while I stayed in the flat. I had missed the companionship of Emma and Pog filled in nicely; his companionship was therapeutic and the timing of my stay worked well for Paul as well as he had travel plans and no one to watch his pets, until now.

I will always regard my time there very fondly and always have a place in my heart for Pog.
